Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who offered to make reservations for us at the hotel restaurant, which we gladly accepted (as we'd been driving 2 days straight already, we did not feel up to going into the city center that night). Also, at breakfast one of the waiters really went out of his way to help us, and we had a lovely chat with him (too bad I never asked his name for he definitely deserves some extra credit!) Food was good (both at breakfast and at dinner), though mostly at dinner there were some pretty long waiting times (see below)

The location is ideal when you’re driving to the south of France and Spain. It has a parking on site (reservation is needed). The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. we had adjacent rooms separated by a private hallway, perfect with 2 young kids. Breakfast is well taken care of. The city of Clermont-Fernand is within walking distance and is well worth the walk to have dinner at one of the nice terraces on one of the city-squares.

The hotel felt brand new. Reception decor was modern and bright with a relaxing bar to match. Cocktails at the bar were excellent. Rooms were clean, immaculate and well equipped. When we arrived we asked for a room with a bath which they moved us to without hesitation. Location was a stones throw from a tram which took us right into the city centre. Delicious homemade(?) yoghurts at breakfast, amongst other tasty treats.

From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and professional Food in the restaurant was very good and service was good The room was clean and well furnished but could have done with a better selection of hot drinks Overall a very pleasant overnight stay A special thank you to David on the reception who went above and beyond to help us with our transport issue
